Objective:
Implement Enterprise Feedback Management System (EFM) in all entities of UN secretariat as a standard platform for feedback management life-cycle.
Description:
EFM is a web-based, secure, strategic application for systematically managing the life-cycle of a survey project. Through surveys, EFM captures feedback and facilitates collaboration and innovation and influences critical business decisions. This initiative is to implement a common EFM system across the UN Secretariat.
Scope:
This initiative will cover UN Departments, OAHs, Regional Commissions, Tribunals and Field Missions.

Standardize on EFM system and enable at least two staff members within each entity in scope to be able to manage life-cycle of a survey project starting from questionnaire design, survey deployment and ending with response and report management.
Impact:
Successful completion of this initiative will facilitate highly reliable decision-making by addressing the following:
- Replace diverse, maintenance-intensive, home-grown survey solutions with a standard feedback management solution.
- Eliminate time-consuming phone, document or spreadsheet based surveys
- Eliminate subscription-based survey engines which sacrifices ownership of responses
- Gather regular and consistent feedback avoiding survey fatigue.
Implementation approach and timeline:
- Submit standardization case on EFM
- Gather license requirements
- Initiate procurement for additional licenses
- Train trainers to conduct remote training
- Train 2 users from each entity using Remote Training Approach
